Powergen Engineering Company, founded in 2017, is led by Mr. J. Jayakumar a veteran of the power generation industry with over 30 years of personal hands-on experience in generator servicing, production, and international project management.
His career spans 13 years of direct hands-on experience in generator and motor servicing, followed by 18 years managing generator production operations. He served as Factory Manager and Branch Head — Exports Unit at the Madras Export Processing Zone (MEPZ), Tambaram, where he oversaw export-oriented manufacturing and commissioned systems at overseas sites.
